The Guard was my first read in the Urban Paranormal/Fantasy genre. I didn't know what to expect but after reading a few pages I knew I was hooked. I loved the storyline and the engaging characters who captured my attention from the start. This was an awesome book. A page turner to the end. I am delighted that there are 2 more books in the series. On to Book 2, The Unseen!"
